Beijing National Stadium is also well know for Bird Nest. The Summer Olympics was held here in 2008. It was amazing.

aggressivepeanut:
Hi there! I found you the image of you hometown on your blog, the image consists of two lines of trees either side of a river and I was hoping to ask you if I could possibly use it as a potential poster for a short film I'm creating this year, You'll still own the rights to the image and we'll give you a named thank you on the Movie's facebook page and a link (if you wish us to do so) to this blog. Thank you for your time :)

Hey, sure of course. Feel free (:

I am glad that I can help!

Temple of Heaven, Beijing, China.

This complex is the place where Ming and Qing dynasties visited for annual ceremonies of prayer to Heaven for good harvest. According to the locals, the emperor has to stay here for 3 nights and refrain from committing sins such as having sex with his concubines.

The Legend of Jinsha Acrobatic Show.

Acrobatic show is very famous in China. This particular is the art of balancing. It is pretty similar to the Western circus.

Emperor dress alike in The Great Wall of China.

Great news is I’ve successfully climbed The Great Wall of China without fainting etc. But it was only I think less than 1% of The Great Wall of China. Lol.

New addition to my aquarium, the banana shrimp. Glad it wasn’t that shy as the baby shrimp. I took about 2 hours getting a few shots done because for some reason, they are really active tonight.

Chinese opera during Hungry Ghost Festival in Penang.

The Hungry Ghost Festival (HGT) falls on the 7 month of the Chinese Lunar Calendar. HGT is considered as the eastern version of the American’s Halloween, it is believed that during this particular month, the gates of Hell will be opened and all the deceased spirits are released and allowed to roam about in our living world for exactly a month before they are summoned back to Hell again.
